BHF Financial Assistance

Overview

Established by NTUC First Campus in 2008, the Bright Horizons Fund (BHF) is a charity fund registered as an Institute of Public Character (IPC). The funds are primarily used to provide financial support for preschool children from low-income families.

Description

Every year, more than S$1.5 million is disbursed from the BHF to empower over 5,000 children from low-income families, giving them a chance at preschool education.

To make preschool education affordable for every family, dedicated funds are set aside to subsidise childcare fees and the purchase of school uniforms. These funds also enable children to benefit from various complementary activities, such as attending field trips and receiving a K2 graduation package, making their preschool journey a fulfilling and joyous experience.

The BHF also supports a holistic range of programmes which cater specially to the children’s learning and well-being.

Eligibility

Families with a monthly gross household income is $4,500 or less; or $1,125 per capita or less (applicable for 5 or more members in the household), are eligible to apply for the BHF.
