Through the NTUC Community Fund (NCF) Book Hamper programme, previously known as Bright Horizons Fund (BHF), we hope that children can build up their phonological awareness and expand their understanding of the world around them through reading.

Highlights

  • This programme seeks to cultivate good reading habits in children 4-6 years old through the distribution of literacy materials.

Benefits

|

The NTUC Community Fund (NCF) Book Hamper programme, previously known as Bright Horizons Fund (BHF), seeks to cultivate good reading habits in children aged 4-6 years old from low-income families who may not have the financial means to purchase reading resources for their children.

Through this programme, we hope that children can build up their phonological awareness and expand their understanding of the world around them.

We also hope that this programme will be a stepping stone in encouraging children to develop the love of reading.
