Trainee Infant Care Teacher (English/Chinese Language)

The Trainee Infant Care Teacher scheme is a place-and-train programme designed to immerse you in the infant care environment. As a Trainee Infant Care Teacher, you will be focusing on looking after infants from 2 to 18 months by creating a safe and conducive learning environment for infants.

Upon graduation, you will be awarded the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) and begin your journey as an Infant Care Teacher.

Trainee Childcare Teacher (English/Chinese Language)

Under Trainee Teacher, you will assume the role of Trainee Teacher position focus on looking after children from 18 months to 6 years old.

You will also be sponsored to pursue the Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching (Conversion) while you are on place and train scheme. Upon successful completion of course, you will be re-designated as English Childcare Teacher.

Principal

As a Principal, you will be providing effective leadership to your team of dedicated teachers whilst ensuring centre viability. Being the cornerstone of the centre, you will lead a team of teachers and centre staff to inspire and nurture children as well as their communities. You will also provide guidance to professional teachers and enable them to fulfil their career aspirations in the organization.

Deputy Centre Lead

As a Deputy Centre Lead, your role involves assisting the Principal in contributing to the strategic direction through curriculum coaching and strengthening the competencies of teachers.

It comprises of:

– Curriculum planning and professional matters, providing inputs and perspectives.
– Mentoring teachers in areas of pedagogy, delivery and use of tools and resources.
– Execution on parent partnership initiatives
– Management and optimization of centre resources e.g., rostering, inventory management, controllable expenses
– Implementation of specific centre programs, initiatives and events
– Handling of centre administrative matters

Childcare Teacher

As an anchoring pillar of the educators’ team, your role as a Childcare Teacher encompasses creating a classroom environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning as well as ensure the delivery of age-appropriate activities and lessons. You will also partake in a partnering journey with parents of children to foster the child’s holistic development, equip them with life skills and cultivate values that will prepare them to be life-long learners.
