My First Skool has been appointed as an Anchor Operator (AOP) by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Under the Anchor Operator scheme, My First Skool receives funding support to increase access to good quality and affordable early childhood care and education, especially for children from lower income or disadvantaged backgrounds.

We were honoured to take part in the book launch of `Happy, Sad and Everything in Between` by one of our parents, Priya Nair, from My First Skool at 51 Fernvale Link, held at the National Library Board. 🧡
The book encourages children to explore and talk about their emotions, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations around emotional well-being from a young age. Through stories, conversations, and everyday experiences, children learn how to recognise emotions, express themselves with confidence, and better understand the feelings of others.
We’re thankful for opportunities to partner with parents and the wider community in supporting children’s growth and well-being.

As part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, children from 6 My First Skool centres participated in the SSDB 1.4km Walkathon at Gardens by the Bay alongside their families, educators, and Mr Goh Pei Ming, Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development.✨
More than just a walk, it was a meaningful moment for everyone to come together and celebrate Singapore`s unity and shared heart. Through experiences like these, our little ones learn that even small actions can make a big difference.

Storytelling helps our little ones understand and appreciate the traditions, values, and stories that shape Singapore’s community spirit. ✨📖
Our little ones from My First Skool at Blk 509B Yishun Ave 4 recently took part in a special storytelling session with Mr Josef Lee, author and illustrator of "My Little Chingay Float", in collaboration with the People’s Association (PA) supporting the “Chingay: Road to UNESCO” campaign.
They were introduced to the heritage and spirit behind Chingay, while exploring values such as community spirit, diversity, and lending a helping hand. 🌈🧡 The session also reminded children that they are “never too little to do big things.”
