How do I get Tax Exemption for donations made to Bright Horizons Fund?

As an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), BHF donors who donate a minimum sum of S$100 are entitled to claim 2.5 times tax deduction from IRAS based on the amount donated. In ‘Step 2 – Contact Details’, please select ‘Yes’ for tax exemption and submit your full name per NRIC together with your NRIC/ FIN number.

Is Bright Horizons Fund an IPC (Institutions of Public Character)?

Yes, Bright Horizons Fund is a charity with IPC-status. Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) are exempt or registered charities which are able to issue tax deduction receipts to donors for qualifying donations made. To qualify as an IPC, the charity must be dedicated to serving the needs of the community in Singapore as a whole and not confined to sectional interests or groups based on race, belief or religion.
