One of the fundamental beliefs of NTUC First Campus is that no child should be left behind in their learning journey. When children are identified with learning or development needs, our in-house Learning Support Educators, Therapists and Classroom Co-Facilitators are there to offer targeted support through our intervention programmes to level them with their peers.
This programme provides additional in-class support for N2 to K2 children with mild learning needs. Small group activities are conducted to reinforce effective learning in the classroom and prepare children for their upcoming primary school journey.
Read-to-REACH (RTR) is a small-group language and literacy intervention programme. K1 children who require additional English Language and Literacy support are taught letter recognition, phonological and phonemic awareness, sight vocabulary, book and print awareness and story comprehension.
The Focused Language Assistance in Reading (FLAiR) programme is a language and literacy programme developed by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in 2007 to provide focused support for K2 children who needs support in building a strong foundation in the English Language and developing a positive disposition towards learning English.
The Inclusive Support Programme (InSP) was created by the Early Childhood Development Agency in February 2022. The InSP ensures in-school support for children requiring medium levels of early intervention support at their preschools.
