Social Support

Thank you for helping me and my family!

There is a common saying that it takes a village to raise a child. NTUC First Campus (NFC) holds to this belief and actively works with external partners to provide strong support systems for children and their families at our centres.

The experiences in a child’s early years set the foundation for future development. NFC aims to extend support to children from low-income families through a range of different settings to minimise any adverse impact from their backgrounds.

Our Key Programme for Social Support

KidSTART Programme

Developed to help children aged 0 to 6 years from low-income families to have a good start in life by empowering families to build strong foundations for their children and foster positive child development outcomes.

In our selected My First Skool KidSTART centres, additional resources are provided to support KidSTART families

  • Engage parents on child growth, development, health and nutrition
  • Monitor and tackle obstacles to child’s attendance and school readiness
