More preschoolers from lower-income families at NTUC First Campus’ (NFC) My First Skool (MFS) centres are receiving support through the Bright Horizons Fund (BHF) for enrichment classes under the You’ve Got Talent programme.
In 2025, the initiative expanded from 20 to 30 MFS centres, reaching 530 children annually, with plans to cover all 162 centres by 2028 and benefit about 1,200 children each year.
The programme, launched in 2015, offers after-school enrichment in sports, music, arts and drama, with costs ranging from $110 to $155 per month. Under the BHF scheme, children from households earning below $4,500 attend free, while those from families earning $4,500–$6,000 pay a reduced fee.
Starting 2025, the Bright Horizons Fund is committing $5 million annually to support MFS preschoolers in financial aid, learning and development, health and well-being, and social support, with $250,000 allocated specifically to You’ve Got Talent in 2025.
“We want to nurture other talents and help children develop their self-confidence and creativity,” said Ms Louisa Chng, NFC’s Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. She added that enrichment in music, sports or arts “also helps with executive functioning and communication skills, preparing children for Primary 1.”
