Bright Horizons Fund
in Action
We recently wrapped up our final Family and School Together (FAST) event of the year, and what a heartwarming celebration it was! 💛
Over 800 families from @myfirstskoolsg came together to enjoy a fun-filled day of bonding and learning through engaging activities made possible by the Bright Horizons Fund. This year, the event took on a special twist as we joined in celebrating SG60 with a vibrant carnival featuring heritage games, local snacks, and snippets of Singapore’s history shared in fun, interactive ways.
The highlight of the day? Children from our You’ve Got Talent programme — co-funded by the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (SMOU) @smousg — took to the stage with confidence to perform in front of their families. It was a proud moment for parents, and a joyful one for all of us to witness. 🌟
A big thank you to Mr Heng Chee How, Chairman of the Bright Horizons Fund and Deputy Secretary-General of NTUC, for joining us at the event, and to our wonderful partners OCBC, Families for Life Council, Ubisoft, and The HoloGrail, as well as our dedicated staff volunteers, for helping bring this celebration to life.
Together, we continue building strong family-school partnerships and enabling bright futures for every child.

The first Family and School Together (FAST) Carnival of the year brought over 800 participants together for a joyful SG60 celebration, filled with fun, learning and heritage. Families explored Singapore’s rich history through cultural booths and activities that fostered bonding and discovery.
Sponsored by the Bright Horizons Fund, FAST creates meaningful opportunities for children from less privileged backgrounds and their families to connect through enriching educational experiences.
We were honoured to have Mr Heng Chee How, Chairman of the Bright Horizons Fund and Deputy Secretary-General of NTUC, join us at the event. A heartfelt thank you to our valued partners – @ocbcbank, @familiesforlife (FFL), and @theholograil @theholograil.sg – for their generous support.
This celebration was made possible through the efforts of our partners, families and volunteers. Moments like these remind us that community lies at the heart of Singapore’s story. Here’s to many more celebrations of our shared heritage! #SG60 ❤️🇸🇬

Our children from My First Skool at Jalan Sultan Centre took the stage at the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (SMOU) Lunar New Year Luncheon & Hong Bao Presentation, delighting guests with their lively performance, 新年什(蛇)么都吉祥. Glad to have celebrated this joyous occasion with NTUC Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng 黄志明, SMOU General Secretary Mary Liew and SMOU members!
A heartfelt thank you to SMOU for their unwavering support of our Bright Horizons Fund (BHF) since 2018, empowering children from low-income families through the You’ve Got Talent (YGT) programme. YGT provides children with opportunities to develop their artistic talents and build confidence along the way.
Wishing every child and their family a bright and joyful year ahead!
