Chief Brand and Communications Officer
As Chief Brand and Communications Officer at NTUC First Campus (NFC), Sharolyn Choy is a fervent believer in doing well and doing good. Together with her diverse team of brand, consumer insights, communications, digital and social experts, they develop brand and communications strategies to enhance the company's profile, and partner stakeholders to deliver campaigns that meet business objectives. Sharolyn has a heart for preschools. She aspires to make a difference by engaging the public and young parents in learning about NFC's purpose, culture and social causes.
Prior to joining NFC, Sharolyn's 30 years of experience spans the government, public-listed and multinational companies, as well as consultancy. She became Managing Director of Edelman Public Relations Singapore in her early 30s, which made her then one of the youngest and only female Singaporean to run a Top 5 international Communications consultancy. A massive amount of her experience is accrued doing work in global and regional markets for companies such as Coca-Cola, Audi, Lufthansa, Hitachi, UPS, ST Engineering and Surbana Jurong. Sharolyn is a certified trainer and has trained many C-suite executives in media and crisis training, as well as conducted workshops in brand and communications messaging.
Chief Customer Officer
Eleanor Tan, the Chief Customer Officer at NTUC First Campus (NFC), drives the brand, marketing and enrolment strategies to strengthen NFC's portfolio of preschool brands, My First Skool and Little Skool-House. She is responsible for transforming the customer experience and end-to-end enrolment processes, while enhancing the preschools' value propositions. Eleanor also leads the NFC's Digital Education taskforce programme to further enhance the organisation's digital edtech capabilities.
Prior to joining NFC, Eleanor held various leadership positions in marketing and sales across Asia and Europe for over 22 years. Having worked with several educational institutions in Singapore and internationally, she has gained a strong understanding of the unique demands of K-12 education. Combining her sector experience with the rigorous consumer marketing skills she honed from her time with MNCs Philips AVENT in Hong Kong, ENGAGE Group in London and Nippon Paint in Asia, Eleanor brings a unique perspective to NFC. Being a lifelong learner, she recently graduated with a Distinction in her Masters in Digital Management from Hyper Island (awarded by Teesside University UK), elevating her systems thinking capability and being an agent of innovation to keep up with the rapidly evolving world of business and technology.
Chief Child Support Officer
As the Chief Child Support Officer at NTUC First Campus (NFC), Louisa Chng is responsible for developing and delivering the integrated Child Support Model across NFC's network of preschools, which includes financial support, social programmes as well as learning & development support programmes. Since joining in 2020, she has been leading efforts to ensure that children enrolled in NFC's preschools who require additional support have access to the resources they need to reach their full potential.
Prior to joining NFC, Louisa was a manager at Bain & Company, where she consulted for many multinationals and local conglomerates in South East Asia, Hong Kong and the United States. Her passion for education led her to start up an educational business in Thailand, and she has also been involved in collaborative philanthropy projects focused on children, youth, and disability. Louisa holds an undergraduate degree in Law from Cambridge University with a LLB from Lincoln's Inn, London and a Master of Business Administration from Wharton Business School.
Chief Human Resource Officer
Simon Ong is the Chief Human Resource Officer of NTUC First Campus (NFC). An advocate for Human Resource to be a strong collaborator and partner to the business, he builds his teams around this belief. At NFC, he is committed to building a strong HR team to partner the business units closely and creating a conducive work environment that supports the growth and development of employees.
Simon brings with him over 25 years of experience in both public and private sectors, across various industries such as defence, shipping, engineering, and retail. He has held leadership positions in various HR functions such as business partnering, talent acquisition, talent management and development. Simon holds an Executive Master of Science in Management of HR & Global Leadership from Baruch College, The City University of New York.
Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer & General Manager, SEED Institute
Mindy Teo is the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer of NTUC First Campus (NFC) and the General Manager of SEED Institute. In her role as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, Mindy oversees the Corporate Development and Data & Analytics departments, providing leadership in strategy formulation and data-driven decision-making across the organisation. As General Manager of the SEED Institute, she is passionate about finding innovative ways to enhance NFC's offerings for young children and their families through programmes beyond preschool. Notably, Mindy also serves as the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer for NTUC Health.
Prior to joining NFC, Mindy spent more than 15 years in the real estate and hospitality industry. During this time, she honed her leadership skills in functions such as strategic planning, brand and marketing, talent management, and asset management. Mindy was instrumental in establishing and driving an innovation culture in a global hospitality organisation, leading the successful implementation of key transformation projects such as developing and launching a new coliving brand (lyf) and a global loyalty program (Ascott Star Rewards). Mindy holds a Master's degree in Science (Engineering) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Michigan. She has always had a passion for young children, serving as a Sunday School teacher in church since 2007.
General Manager, My First Skool
With over 25 years of experience in the education industry, Thian Ai Ling, General Manager of My First Skool, has dedicated her career to working with children and youth. Ai Ling spearheads business growth initiatives, enhances operational effectiveness, and drives the development of systems and practices for quality assurance, change management, and innovations. Ai Ling is instrumental in the designs and niche programming for the large and atypical My First Skool centres. A people developer, Ai Ling coaches her team of Zonal Directors, Cluster Quality Managers and Centre Principals with Systems Thinking and Leadership.
Prior to joining NTUC First Campus (NFC) in 2015, Ai Ling held senior leadership positions in schools and the Ministry of Education, Singapore. Ai Ling was awarded the Outstanding Youth in Education (a national recognition for young educators who have shown admirable passion in teaching and commitment to inspiring and nurturing their students) in 2001 and the Lee Kuan Yew Leadership Valedictorian Prize in 2008 (demonstrating the best overall performance in the Leaders in Education Programme, a full-time leadership executive programme by the National Institute of Education). In 2018 and 2019, Ai Ling was conferred the Top 50 Women Leaders in Education by the World Education Congress and the Education Leadership Award. Ai Ling’s expertise in education and quality systems is widely recognised, and she is frequently invited to speak at local and international industry conferences and events. Ai Ling is the 2nd Deputy Chairman of the Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF). She holds a Master of Teaching & Learning from Teachers' College, Columbia University, USA.

General Manager, Little Skool-House
Coreen Soh is the Chief Child Development Officer of NTUC First Campus (NFC) as well as General Manager of Little Skool-House. With over 24 years of experience in preschool education, Coreen is a purpose-driven and dynamic leader who has dedicated herself to providing high-quality education to children in Singapore. Starting her career as a preschool teacher, Coreen has a deep understanding of the important role that preschool educators play in the development of young children. She strongly believes in integrating education and business domains to create more possibilities in the preschool sector. Her experience in commercial companies, the Ministry of Education, and social enterprises has given her a balanced and holistic perspective on running a successful education-based organisation. At NFC, Coreen is committed to ensuring a high-quality curriculum in all our preschools and growing a thriving early childhood community.
As a recognised expert in early childhood education, Coreen's expertise is highly sought after. She has been featured in the media extensively, presented at prestigious conferences such as NAEYC and the NIE Research Seminar, delivered talks at seminars locally and internationally, contributed articles for various publications, conducted courses for corporates, and served as a guest lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Early Childhood Education Programme. Coreen holds a Master of Science (Early Childhood Education) from Wheelock College, Boston and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mat. Eng) from Nanyang Technological University.
Chief Financial Officer
Hor Fong Lin is the Chief Financial Officer at NTUC First Campus (NFC), where she oversees the finance, procurement, corporate secretariat, data protection, and risk management functions. Since joining NFC in 2012, Fong Lin has been driving transformational initiatives aimed at improving the financial sustainability of the organisation and building its finance capabilities. She has leveraged technology to improve productivity and governance through digitalisation of processes, and has strengthened data protection and risk management through the rollout of enterprise risk management and data protection framework.
Fong Lin is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore and a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Australia. She graduated from NUS with a Bachelor of Accountancy in 1985, and has more than 30 years of experience managing Accounting, Financial, Strategic Business Planning, Information Technology, Risk and Governance functions. Prior to joining NFC, Fong Lin held finance leadership positions in education, technology, retail and food & beverage industries, providing strong financial leadership in the areas of improving governance, productivity, business growth, and performance. Her vast experience makes her an invaluable asset to NFC, and her expertise ensures the organisation's financial success and continued growth.
Chief Executive Officer
Chan Su Yee is the Chief Executive Officer of NTUC First Campus (NFC), a position she assumed in 2021. Prior to becoming CEO, Su Yee had been a member of the Board since 2015, demonstrating a strong passion for preschool education and making valuable contributions. In addition to her role at NFC, Su Yee is also the Chief Executive Officer of NTUC Health, one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. This dual leadership role has enabled her to forge a partnership between NFC and NTUC Health, pioneering a unique platform for intergenerational learning. By bringing together young children and older generations, Su Yee cultivates an environment of empathy, understanding, and knowledge exchange, enriching the educational journey for all involved. Before joining NTUC Health, she led cluster development for the Health and Early Education sectors at NTUC Enterprise.
Su Yee brings extensive experience to her role, having spent 14 years working with clients across Asia on a wide range of corporate strategy issues as a consultant at Bain & Company. Her credentials in business strategy, coupled with her strong passion for early childhood education, make her a trusted leader in the preschool education industry.
