Seven My First Skool educators clinched accolades at the 2026 Outstanding Preschool Mother Tongue Language Teacher Award

Seven educators from NTUC First Campus’ My First Skool (MFS) received the Outstanding and Merit awards at the 2026 Outstanding Preschool Mother Tongue Language Teacher Award held during the 14th Mother Tongue Languages Symposium (MTLS) on 1 August 2026.
This is a list of winners from MFS:
- Outstanding Award, Chinese Language — Zhou Shuhan from My First Skool at Blk 463 Clementi
- Outstanding Award, Malay Language — Muhammad Danish Bin Sham from My First Skool at 49 Rivervale Crescent
- Merit Award, Chinese Language — Li Xia from My First Skool at Blk 640B Tampines
- Merit Award, Chinese Language — Hsieh Pei-Chen from My First Skool at Blk 295A Compassvale
- Merit Award, Malay Language — Nurul Afifah Binte Ismail from My First Skool at Blk 438 Bukit Batok West
- Merit Award, Malay Language — Nor Farynni Bte Abd Razak from My First Skool at 6 Segar Road
- Merit Award, Tamil Language — Vasudevan Nivasini from My First Skool at Blk 260 Bukit Batok
Jointly organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC), and the Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee (TLLPC), the award celebrates outstanding preschool Mother Tongue Language (MTL) teachers who inspire a love for their mother tongue through engaging and meaningful learning experiences. It recognises educators for their passion, creativity and dedication in nurturing young children’s appreciation and use of their mother tongue languages.
