My First Skool has been appointed as an Anchor Operator (AOP) by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Under the Anchor Operator scheme, My First Skool receives funding support to increase access to good quality and affordable early childhood care and education, especially for children from lower income or disadvantaged backgrounds.

At My First Skool at Blk 601 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5, our teachers brought fun and learning together with a game of “What’s in the Parcel?”- with questions to get our little ones thinking and a surprise waiting inside! 🎁

Beyond the colours, shapes and materials is a child learning to express an idea, make their own creative choices and proudly say, “I made this!”
Through the eyes of our parents and educators, we see how experiences like Picture One Artwork! can mean so much more to a child. Seeing their creations celebrated beyond the classroom gives our little ones a sense of pride and encourages them to grow in confidence as they share their ideas with others. 🧡

Over the years, that belief has shaped the way she teaches, using hand puppets to bring stories to life, and playful games like Mancala (பல்லாங்குழி) to turn language learning into something her students look forward to, rather than something they worry about getting wrong.
