But why do we need to take care of them if they’re eventually going to fall out? That’s one of the many things our little ones explored when a parent dentist stepped into our classroom for the first episode of My Parent’s Job Is…! 🪥✨
From discovering how our teeth work to learning about healthy food choices and the importance of brushing, our little ones had the opportunity to ask questions, explore and learn through fun, hands-on activities! And the learning goes beyond healthy teeth!

At our Children’s Day celebration at Little Skool-House Tampines Plaza, our educators invited the children to imagine and draw who they wanted to be. From princesses to “electric men”, their creations gave us a little peek into their wonderfully imaginative worlds. 🎨✨

This Children’s Day, we asked our little ones one very important question: “Today, what can we call you?” ✨
Our little ones from Little Skool-House Tampines Plaza certainly had some ideas! 🤭 With names inspired by their big imaginations and even bigger personalities, they showed us that for Children’s Day, you can be called whatever you like!

Ready, steady… GO! 🏃♀️💨 This Children’s Day, our little ones from Little Skool-House Ngee Ann Polytechnic got moving with their families at a special Sports Day in partnership with Ready Steady Go Kids! 🌟
From age-appropriate games for our youngest ones to bigger challenges for our older children, everyone had a chance to jump, run and play, with their biggest supporters right by their side. 🥰
More than a day of play, it was a chance for our children and families to move, bond and make happy memories together. A big thank you to our educators and families for making the day such a special one for our little ones. Happy Children’s Day! 🎈

How do children grow into confident Chinese speakers? 🗣️
At Little Skool-House, Chinese is more than a language children learn. It is a language they listen to, explore and use meaningfully every day. Through our Yǔ Yīn (语音) approach, stories, picture cues and playful language games help children strengthen their vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence expression, while building the confidence to communicate in Chinese.
Because language confidence doesn’t come from memorising more words. It grows when children are given meaningful opportunities to use them.

Rhythm, melody, and playful games are at the heart of how we teach Chinese — and in this class, that came alive through our Yǔ Yīn (语音) approach, as children explored Chinese sounds through a lively story and themed castanets, learning to distinguish and articulate distinct pronunciations along the way. 🐸

A special morning, a special guest, and a little gift made with love from our little ones. 🎨🇸🇬
Our children from Little Skool-House at Ngee Ann Polytechnic were delighted to welcome President Tharman to our centre! With smiles and excitement, they presented him with their handmade artworks and enjoyed the opportunity to meet our President in person.
It was a proud moment for our little ones, and a wonderful reminder of how meaningful experiences beyond the classroom can encourage children to express themselves and engage with the world around them. 🩵
