The one absolute when you join our team at Outdoor School is that you must love kids. You’ve got to love answering a tonne of questions from curious explorers and their enthusiasm for the great outdoors should make your heart sing! You’ll want to share your knowledge with them and be passionate about developing these little tykes into confident global citizens who will become the custodians of our planet. If feeding their curiosity gets you all fired up and you thrive in the outdoors, we’re your people.
Keen on Being An Instructor?
No Walls to Confine You
You’ll be spending your time in nature with a bunch of 4- to 9-year-old rug rats who will be endlessly inquisitive about everything they see and do.
Timings that work for you
You’ll be conducting a healthy flow of programmes on a schedule that suits your arrangements and lifestyles
Opportunities For Growth
You’ll have the opportunity to grow because “personal development” and “career progression” are baked into our culture. We’re all about championing the path you want to take, with paid training provided.
A Team That’s Here for You
And speaking of culture, you’ll be part of an insanely fun, inclusive, supportive and nurturing work culture, that most do not even feel like it’s work =)
We Are Hiring
You’ll be just as much a part of our team as our full-time instructors but you’ll work on a more flexible, freelance schedule.
You’ll be under a contract to work on and conduct our camps on a daily basis. You’ll be responsible for guiding the children to be resilient risktakers and responsible individuals.
We have a vibrant and supportive team, who adopts a ‘wall-less’ and holistic learning approach. My “office” view also changes daily and is way cooler than everyone else’s.
I love the people, the culture and the work. Not only do I have many opportunities to hone my skills as an outdoor educator,
I am able to do it in a nurturing environment where the people care about my growth!
This organisation helped me grow tremendously as an educator, a person, and a team member. It’s heartening to be part of a strong and supportive team culture where we share the same goal (to nurture young friends through nature).
